Debbie and I were introduced to our friend the Bull Dog Margarita in Whistler last year when we did the Tough Mudder.  Mark and Debbie and my brother Matt and sister Sam went up to Whistler early Friday and my good friend Mandy went up with me Friday night.  We found Mark and Debbie in the Long Horn Saloon in Whistler Village.  Mark was pretty excited to show me this new drink he had discovered.  The Bull Dog Margarita!  They were pretty big and the man drank 3 of them by 11pm that night and we had to get up the next morning at 7 to get ready for the Mudder.

Then next morning he was feeling those Bull Dogs but he did the Tough Mudder like a beast! Lol.

Debbie and I did the Tough Mudder last year with Mark, Matt and our great friends Mandy, Norm, Danelle and their mom Penny.  Our team was:  “99 Problems but a Mudder Aint One”  I love it!   I don’t think I have ever been so dirty in all my life.  Especially when we ran the mud mile with mud up to our waists. Check out our team!

Not so clean…

Debbie felt that I was too clean at the start of the race so she wanted to help me out a little.

She got mud in my freeking ear!

Ok fine, it was a year ago.  Old news.  But I had to tell you about it because, as I said, that’s when we first discovered the Bull Dog Margarita, or Beergarita as we fondly call it.  Since then, they have become a summer staple around Debbies pool.  Don’t even bring them up if you don’t feel like making one for everyone!  Seriously!

Bull Dog Margarita (Beergarita)

It might be obvious, but we used this massive glass in our photoshoot just for fun.  We don’t usually drink them in glasses this big.  That said, the Long Horn in Whistler has pretty large margarita glasses that these come in.  If you can find a larger than normal margarita glass, then use it, but if not, dont worry, just pour your beer in at the start and mix it around.  Its still delicious that way.  We drink them like that in solo cups in the pool.  OR, if you can find those little baby coronas that are half the size, they will fit upside down in your cup no problem.

This big glass is fun though!  But dont try to drink it alone!

I have mentioned before that Debbie has the best margarita/slushy maker there is. The Margaritaville blender! It rocks! If you want to check them out, or get one for yourself, you can click this link…

This is the one that Debbie has, but there are a whole bunch of options. Even one that will mix 3 blenders full at once!

Yes of course! We made ours in Debbies margarita maker. I think you probably would have to double the recipe in one of your big machines. Give it a shot!
Have a great reunion 🙂 It will definitely be fun if you start serving these.
