10Mushrooms sliced(or more, you can add however much you like)
1can or 1 cup Peas
1/2tspCumin Seeds(Jeera)
1/2tspTumeric
1/2tspRed Chilli Powder
1/2tspGaram Masala
1big pinch Asafoetida/Hing
1/2cup- 1 cup Water(you might need more than this)
For the Paste:
4clovesGarlic
1inchGinger
1large Tomato
Instructions
Heat up a skillet and start browning the Ground Beef. Season the meat with the Salt, Onion Powder, and Garlic Powder. Cook till all the meat is browned.
In a separate large skillet, heat up the Coconut Oil. Throw in the chopped Onion and Cumin Seeds and Mushrooms. Cook till the Onions are translucent and Mushrooms are browned.
Add the Tumeric, Red Chilli Powder, and Garam Masala and stir. Cook for a min or two.
Use a mortar and pestle and make a paste with the Garlic, Ginger and Tomato. You can also use a blender for this. Cook until the paste starts to dry out.
Add the Sweet Potato and some water, about 1/2 cup. Stir and cover for about 5 min.
Add the Cauliflower, a bit more water and cover again. Cook until the Cauliflower and Sweet Potatoes are fork tender.
Add the Peas and the Ground Beef and a little water depending on how you like it. If you want some gravy, add more water, for less gravy, add less water. You get the picture...
Season with Salt and Pepper to taste and eat!
Notes
I ate this all on its own, but you could eat it with Roti or Naan if you think you need more carbs in your life. I definitely don't!
