Raspberry Champagne Margarita

  • 6 cups of ice
  • 1/2 cup homemade raspberry liqueur (for alternatives see the recipe notes)
  • 1/3 cup key lime juice
  • 1/4 cup tequila
  • 1 cup sparkling wine or champagne
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • salt and sugar mixed for the rim


  • Mix the salt and sugar for the rim on a small plate. Run a lime wedge around the edge of your glasses. Dip the rim of the glasses into the salt and sugar mix.
  • Place all ingredients into a blender. Blend on high until the ice is all blended. Pour into glasses and serve.
  • Recipe makes 4 smallish margaritas or 3 good sized ones.


Instead of the homemade raspberry liqueur you can use one of these combinations:
1. 1/3 cup raspberry liqueur and 1/4 cup raspberry compote
2. 1/3 cup raspberry liqueur, 1/4 cup raspberries, and 1 more tbsp honey
